Honey soya sauce roast chicken

Serves 2-3
1 kg whole chicken

Salt and pepper to taste
2 tablespoons cooking wine
1 tablespoon soya sauce
2 teaspoons of honey

1. Preheat oven to 200C
2. Place the chicken in a roasting tin and season generously inside and out with salt, pepper, then adding the soya sauce and wine on the outside of the chicken.

3 Bake uncovered for 30 minutes, then turn over the chicken and bake for another 25 minutes.

4. Apply the honey on the skin and cook for 5 minutes.
5. Remove from the oven and allow to rest for at least 20 minutes before serving.
